As we enter the season of ‘Thankfulness’ there is often the reflection about what is important to us, and we are inspired to gaze at life through the lens of gratefulness. Incorporating an attitude of gratitude into our daily routines can be beneficial, not only during the month of November but all year round.
Being thankful and showing gratitude creates a joyful mindset that enables us to see the world from an optimistic viewpoint and to recognize the little blessings in our lives. When realizing how abundant we really are, we are motivated to give to others by sharing that abundance. Positivity radiates from within, expands out into the world and can be contagious!
To help maintain the spirit of gratitude and thankfulness year-round, here are a few helpful tips…
Build Positive Relationships -Express your love and appreciation to the people you care about. Practice random acts of kindness.
Value The Little Things -Remember the tiny little blessings and appreciate what you have.
Create A ‘Thankful’ Jar -Write down a few things a week that you are grateful for and put them in your jar. You can also create a gratitude journal and write them in there.
Spread The Abundance -Smile at someone or give a small gift of appreciation; a simple ‘thank you’ is a gift that does not cost any money. Volunteer your time in the community to help others in need.
