High School Students
As high school students and their families start the college search, PCSD offers various opportunities to explore your interest and learn more about our programs. You are invited to review our programs with an admissions representative, visit the computer and studio labs, view equipment, and see examples of student work. Another option is to come to one of our many Open Houses throughout the year. It is never to early.
Typical acceptance timeline for current High School students wishing to attend PCSD after High School graduation:
- November = Begins the interviewing process for the fall of the following year’s program start.
- January = Acceptance packets are mailed and emailed to interviewed candidates for the fall program starts. If you have not scheduled your tour do it now! We only accept 14 students (COVID-19 Social Distancing) for the fall program start and seating fills quickly.
- March 2 = CalGrant deadline so start researching colleges early.
A.P. Credits
A.P. credits can transfer into PCSD for credit. If you have taken Advance Placement (AP) classes with a test score of three or higher you may receive transfer credits.
