Platt College Alumni Featured in Alice in Wonderland Themed Art Show
Several of our Platt College Alumni participated in a fun art show this last weekend called ‘Through The Canvas’, an artistic tribute to the works of Lewis Carroll. The event was held at the Royale Tea Room in La Jolla, which was the perfect setting for an Alice in Wonderland themed art exhibit.
Many guests showed up throughout the day to view and purchase the work created by a variety of local San Diego artists. A percentage of each artwork that was sold went to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of San Diego. The lovely owners of the Royale Tea Room also provided gift cards to anyone who bid on artwork in the silent auction that was held throughout the day as well as elegant raffle prizes.
It’s great to see our alumni participate in an art show for a good cause. You can check out pictures of them with their artwork that was on display below!
