Alumni Juan Garcia Illustrates A Beautiful Tribute to Hayao Miyazaki Films
This week’s featured illustration is a beautiful art piece created by Platt College alumni, Juan Fernando Garcia. This particular art piece titled Miyazaki Madness is a digital vector illustration designed for an art show taking place this weekend at TPG2 here in San Diego. The exhibition is called Ghibli: A Hayao Miyazaki Fan Art Show and will feature artwork from over 40 local artists.
Juan did a great job of taking the popular characters from Miyazaki’s films and combining them to create this one beautiful piece. If you would like to check out Juan’s artwork in person you can attend the art show on October 3rd from 5 – 10 PM. The exhibit itself will be on display until November 1st.
