Students in our Term 2 Illustrator class are given a project of creating a portrait of either themselves or someone that they admire. It’s always fun to see who the students decide to bring to life with their newfound vector illustration skills.
Platt College graphic design student, Ada Herrera, created this beautiful portrait of world famous artist Frida Kahlo for her project. Using a variety of different techniques using the program Adobe Illustrator, Ada was able to create wonderful details for this piece. Can’t wait to see what you create next Ada. Nicely done!
“I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality.”
