Platt College Hosts First Annual International Day
If you’re free on Thursday, March 26 between 10 AM to 1 PM we invite you to join Platt College San Diego at Balboa Park. We will be setup in the International Village where we are hosting our first ever International Day. This event is also a celebration of the 100th year anniversary of Balboa Park. The second oldest park in the U.S., Central Park in New York being the first.
The Poe Street Band & Company will play some lovely music, nine cottages will be open, you can admire a wonderful art exhibition on the lawn, we will also have Czech and Slovak sweets, homemade sausage, European bread, face painting, a fun photo booth, an architectural walk, and a free guided tour in the Museum of Art. Come to meet international students studying English in this beautiful coastal town!
Even though it’s called International Day, anyone is welcome! It is a free event fit for any age (children included) and it is free of charge. There is only a suggested donation for the homemade international food, live music, etc. We hope you will join us for a fun and inspiring day!
