If you’re looking for something fun and inspiring to do this Thursday, March 26th, then we highly recommend attending an upcoming event hosted by Adobe called the Creative Jam. The premise is that Adobe seeks out the best talent from major cities all over the world to compete in a creative event. This will be their first time hosting this event in San Diego, so we were thrilled to hear that two of our alumni would be involved.
Platt Visual Effects alumni Jarod Octon and Natasha Englehardt are one of the ten teams that, will be competing in the realm of graphic design or motion graphics at the Creative Jam. This 3-hour design charrette showdown, will challenge the participants by giving them an unknown theme that they will need to incorporate into their projects.
While all this is going on there will also be a one-hour design showcase highlighting the work of local creative leaders. Once the Creative Jam presentations wrap, tournament participants will take the stage to share their creations with the audience. The audience will then judge each submission and select the Grand Prize winner.
Whether Jarod and Natasha win or lose it’s still an honor that they were chosen by Adobe to compete in this fun and challenging design competition. If you would like to go cheer them on, we’ve listed the event info and link below!
