Platt College San Diego Awarded BID Award

Platt College San Diego was recognized by the Business Improvement District and was awarded the “2004 College Area Business of the Year.” President Bob Leiker was honored at a luncheon and accepted the award on behalf of the school. Since 1980, Platt College San Diego has been an integral part of the College Area Business District. Recently, they improved the ambiance on the corner of 63rd Street and El Cajon Boulevard by expanding and upgrading the campus, which is now 16,700 square feet of classrooms, computer labs, administration area and a new library. Mr. Leiker comments, “For close to 25 years we have been very proud to be a part of the College Area Business District and look forward to 25 more.” Source: San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce.
