Platt College is taking over San Diego Comic Con this week! Be sure to stop by our booth #1617 to say hi and pick up some of our Comic Con exclusive goodies like buttons and sunglasses. We are sharing our booth with the awesome Danger Factory crew as well as the fabulous Comicbookgirl19! On Friday and Saturday we will also have our official street team outside the convention center promoting our social media outlets, taking photos and promoting an exciting event that’s happening this August. Keep an eye out for our team rocking purple and black Platt College capes!
Some of you may have heard us mention that we were partnering up with local company Passage Productions to host an event you won’t want to miss. Platt College is excited to present the San Diego premiere of the award winning documentary, Cosplay Dreams 3D! We have two of our talented alumni, Joel Morillo and Vanessa Robbins who worked on the film so we were happy to show our support through hosting the films San Diego premiere.
We will be offering a San Diego Comic Con exclusive discount code for anyone who stops by our booth or meets up with our street team so that you can receive $5 off your tickets to this fun, one night only event. For more information on this event check out the blog HERE.
There will be an awesome panel hosted by the Passage Productions team at Comic Con this year that we recommend you check out as well. Platt Alumni Joel Morillo will teach you how to use Adobe Photoshop and After Effects, to add realistic laser beams, fireballs, glowing magical elements, and sci-fi backgrounds to your cosplay photographs and video.
