At least once a year our digital media design students are whisked away on a fun adventure to Los Angeles to visit the Dr. Phil Show and the Getty Museum. Having the ability to explore and learn more about the world of video production and fine art outside of the classroom is a great opportunity to expand the students knowledge beyond their daily routine of coding, animating and designing.
While at the Dr. Phil show students learned about the history of Paramount Studios and what things are like behind the scenes of such a popular television show! The students were also given the opportunity to sit in the audience for several tapings of the show, so keep an eye out for us in the crowd. We could be in the next episode!
The second half of the field trip was spent at the always beautiful and inspiring Getty Museum. From photography to fine art and even some antique furniture and decor, the Getty has something for anyone who has a love for the world of art. Be sure to check out some photos from our trip to the Getty through the Facebook album below!
We hope all of our students had a fun time on the field trip. Follow our blog and like us on Facebook to stay up-to-date on future extracurricular events and activities.
