Art Exhibits have been a tradition at Platt College over the years as a great way to give exposure to the schools talented Digital Media Designers. Last year’s exhibit was to commemorate The Legend of Zelda’s 25th Anniversary through every type of artistic medium imaginable! From sculptures, paintings and 3D art there was a wide variety of Platt talent on display. The event was such a huge success that even though it was meant to be one night only, the gallery decided to keep it open for two more weeks. This year is sure to be an even greater success with the theme of the Marvel Universe!
Growing up we all had heroes that we wished we would become one day. While some heroes entertained us, some inspired us when we were at a loss, motivated us when we needed that extra push, and a few, just a few, sparked the everlasting imagination that makes us all kids!
Come and join us on November 16th (Friday), 2012 as Platt College San Diego pays tribute to the Marvel Universe. This exclusive ONE NIGHT event will once again harness the talents of Platt College San Diego students/alumni, local art
ists, and industry professionals within the San Diego community to celebrate their favorites from the Marvel Universe.
Everyone is invited to attend the opening reception at 7:30PM on November 16th! Platt is currently accepting artwork for this event (see details below). Please check back soon for a list of contributing artists.
