Couldn’t make it out to San Diego Comic Con 2016? Or perhaps you did, but it’s such a massive convention you didn’t have time to see everything! Either way, we’ve got you covered with this comprehensive wrap up of a ton of the inside festivities, cosplayers and amazing booth displays.
We were lucky to have a booth inside the convention for the third year in a row and it’s always a fun experience! It’s great to have current students, alumni and new students stop by and visit with us. Some even stopped by in their creative cosplays!
Although we spend most of our time hanging out at our booth during Comic Con, we do get some time to wander and explore. Do we make it to panels? No…those lines can get pretty crazy. But every once and awhile we get a chance encounter with some pretty awesome celebrities.
This year’s encounter was with the cast of the Walking Dead who are not in short supply of raving fans. They were signing autographs at their booth and were bombarded by hundreds of people just wanting a photo of them. If they had all been wearing zombie makeup it would have seemed all too reminiscent of an actual Walking Dead episode.
Celebrities and Cosplay aside, Comic Con has become a melting pot of not just comic book fans (let’s not forget where this all started), but movies, video games, artists, writers, music and more! No matter what you’re into there is really something for everyone to enjoy at San Diego Comic Con.
