Combining retro style video game art with javascript, Platt College San Diego web design student, Sean Lenahan was able to bring this fun game to life. In our Term 5 Scripting For The Web class, students learn many different uses for javascript, including how to make a unique interactive game experience. He used a combination of Adobe Photoshop to create the backgrounds and the sprites. As well as a program called Piskel for the pixel art.
When we asked Sean what inspired him to create this particular game called Death’s Quest, he said, “I was inspired by classic games from Nintendo, and the mythos of death and his ties to heaven and hell, and finally a bit of corporate America.”

Be sure you try out his Javascript game for yourself. Nice work Sean!
