Nope. All classes are scheduled for you and you will know your classes for the program from day one. If you begin in one of the associate degree programs you can enroll in the bachelor’s program when almost completed with the associate.
Do you offer online classes?
Typically, all of your classes are hands-on, on campus. We find that creative students benefit greatly from hands-on courses with instant feedback, art direction, and interaction with fellow creative individuals. Besides, on campus programs offer students to network and form relationships that will last long after graduation and into their professional career.
What does “inverted curriculum” mean?
Inverted curriculum means in most cases you would begin in your design classes before you would start the 15-weeks of digital media appropriate General Education classes. We wish for you to be marketable A.S.A.P..
I’m not good at math. Is there a lot of math?
No. We hear that question on an almost daily basis. Without getting into biology, psychology or any other “ologies” creative people tend to be more right-brained and math is not their strong suit. Although, there are a couple of math classes as part of the General Education requirements most math courses are geared towards the industry. Makes more sense, right?
Are books, materials, Adobe Creative Cloud, and supplies really included?
Absolutely! Books, materials, supplies, Adobe Creative Cloud Subscription, and printing are included and outlined in the cost of your program. Books and supplies are distributed during each class session. No hidden costs of any kind.
No parking fees?
You read it correctly. No parking fees! We have free parking within steps of the campus and hundreds of free parking spaces next door. No placard required.
Can I take just one class instead of the whole degree or diploma program?
Yes. This would be considered as a professional development class. Please download the professional development packet or visit the professional development page.
