Star Wars and Platt College make… “News”

Tune to Channel 8 at 7:25 a.m. on Monday, May 16 & KUSI at 8:05 a.m. on Thursday, May 19 to watch Platt College 3D Instructor Patrick Kajirian as he explains “behind the scenes” animation techniques used in the making of Star Wars.

With Star Wars debuting May 19, the hype is building and people are more interested in learning about 3D animation and multimedia effects. During the interview with Local 8 & KUSI, Mr. Kajirian will use a demonstration from the 3D Production course he teaches at Platt College, showing an example of a Pod Racer scene from Star Wars Episode I. He will also show viewers how to build a lightsaber sequence.
