Voting Booth Decoration Contest
Elections are upon us. Obama? McCain? Other? So, Platt College students were busy in the campus courtyard on Wednesday, October 15, 2008. Students decorated voting booths and created banners to bring awareness to vote! A little contest broke out. Many jars of paint were used to get the creative ideas on the canvas or should we say booths? What a dynamic scene to observe!
Trip to Italy: Educational Expedition
Platt College San Diego students visited several beautiful cities in Tuscany and Umbria – Rome, Tivoli, Assisi, Florence and Venice. Today Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream announced it has awarded Chris Bolor and Victor Silva with scholarships for their winning artwork that will be featured in a new mural located at Hawaiian Shaved Ice, 710 Ventura Pl. in Mission Beach.
